Best Study Bible for daily Bible reading (and overall)

I have often been asked the question “What is the best Study Bible?”

Maybe it is asked by someone seeking to grow in their faith. Other times it is asked by someone looking to equip a friend who is new to the faith. Most often, however, it is for those considering what gift to give a new confirmand.

Without hesistation I would recommend the Lutheran Study Bible. This is the Best Study Bible for daily Bible reading.

Although it uses the slightly more wooden ESV translation, the study notes are both consistent and thorough. It is a product from Concordia Publishing House and so the notes come from a confessional Lutheran perspective.

The BEST aspect of this Bible is that every single verse is part of section that ends with a prayer in the notes. This divides the text into short readings that are naturally concluded with a prayer.
